‘‘We live in a culture that simply does not encourage people to be modest. The culture that exalts people who succeed, who succeed young, who succeed fast. The culture where lifestyles of rich and famous stand as a models. The culture that promotes human happiness through material prosperity’’

''We demonize the Middle Ages, we say that it was the Terror , not a Religion. It was an Army Life and hurrible times. But lets have a look from the different angle…
''The 14-th century preachers said of avarice , ‘‘when it has gained the the whole earth, it wants the sea, and after that , it soon craves for what is in the air, and by rising thus it knows no limit’’
''According to Mediaval Christianity the human beings were embodied souls, so material things played the subordinate role in a pursuit of human flourishing, the common good and salvation.
‘‘At those times the individual was not separated from community, and therefore the material things and economic behaviours could not be separated from salvation itself. It was the idea of salvation of society in all spheres of life, including economics.’’

''Many of us believe that the world will belong to the sharks, to the large players. But I would say that the world already belongs to those atypical (not typical) entrepreneurs with philantropic - strategies, entrepreneurs with philantropic-investments.
‘‘Unsuccessful entrepreneurship should be encouraged by society. May be it sounds outside the box, but society should encourage unsuccessful entrepreneurship. The people who are ready to be unsuccessful, and socially motivated , these types of entrepreneurs are very valuable for any society.’’

Whooh. Newspeak again.

Every entrepreneur worth his/her stuff knows that (s)he might not succeed. In fact, most don’t.

But only success achieves any social good. Those who go bankrupt don’t create charities and foundations; they can’t afford to.

Mebbe Yogi Berra said it best: “Nothing succeeds like success.”
