You are right about the poor choice in agreeing to dogsit for your grown daughter when she is not there. It is never too late to renegotiate that arrangement.

I am sorry for your health challenges. I will pray for your improved health.

Limerick, I appreciate your prayers very much. I realize my own mistakes but feel that God brought this dog to us for a reason and he gets better everyday as he adjusts to our lifestyle. I would never even consider breaking my daughter’s heart and he happens to be the dog she will use at the National K-9 school she will attend in the fall to become a dog trainer. It was more a future business venture than a family pet thing. My only regret was in not waiting until summer but I can survive less than two months. I feel there was reason that God wanted us to save this dog.
