So I finally signed my closing papers on my house on Friday 😃

Thank you for all that prayed for me when I posted up in the prayer intentions about getting this house.
It’s perfect for me.
I just spent all day there getting the walls primered so I can paint. Hopefully I’ll be finished this week so that my mom and I can start cleaning next week.

I can’t wait to start moving stuff in!
I’m going to try to keep my blog updated with the progress, if you’re interested. I’ve got little video clips and pictures that I’m prolly going to be posting there too…
 
Congratulations! It’s a wonderful feeling to finally own your own home. Have fun painting and decorating.

It’s a foreclosure so it definitely needs some cleaning. But it’s in great condition compared to other foreclosures. The home inspection guys said that it was the best foreclosure they’ve seen!! 😃
Just a few major repairs needed prior to moving in, but it’s nothing that a friend of mine can’t handle…👍

For sure… Have faith though. - depending on how much you decide to do - after the first couple years, the outpouring of cash at Home Depot and Lowes generally slow down.

We’re transitioning from a house we’ve been at for 10 years into another one and have begun the outpouring of cash once again ourselves.

I look forward to keeping up on your progress!

Aww, congratulations! Many moons ago when we bought our house, it was almost a foreclosure.

Lots of decorating fun awaits you. 😃

I’ve already picked out my prayer corner. I need to find the right table too. I was just talking about that with my mother last night…
