I'm guessing this isn't acceptable?

The Mass is not the place for that. Were I a priest and I decided to wear my favorite fedora during Mass, I’d hope someone would call me on it.

That hat really isn’t acceptable for Mass. Besides, the so-called ears on the hat remind me of horns.
