I'm now officially a Catholic

I just wanted to share the good news that I am now officially a Catholic! I was confirmed this morning in a very special Mass using every Anglican-use element we are permitted (both myself and Father and apparently our bishop too like this, but some parishioners don’t. Anyhow…) Everyone was very happy for me and several people gave me cards and little presents which was very nice. And I received the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament for the first time, which was incredible after months of kneeling in the pew at communion time. I am just elated and overwhelmed at the moment. Thank you to everyone here who has prayed for me and given me advice over the years as I have wrestled with my conscience and I am very glad to be one of you. I’m very pleased to have finally changed my religion label on this forum to Catholic.
