Any World of Warcraft fans in here? I’m starting a Catholic guild once Classic WoW releases this summer. The goal is to connect grown-up Catholics with real life responsibilites and little time on their hands who want to have fun together without jeopardising their spiritual lives. If this sounds interesting to you please visit the link for more info!

This is the link to the Google doc where everything is explained in detail:
Code:

This is the link which will take you directly to the sign-up form (also accessible to the Google doc):

I’m so interested but I don’t have a system for it right now. I might build one this year so keep in touch.

Oh man we should use Catholic names like Saint Athanasius. Have a magisterium and teach on the world chat. What’s the guild name going to be? Just all caps Catholics? Yessss!

There is no name yet, like I wrote in the Google doc. I have some ideas, but we’ll see. I ask every member to share ideas with me.

This would be vanilla WoW? As in without my precious blood elves? 😜

I honestly don’t know, I quit playing WoW because of college, but I was starting to grow bored with it. I only stayed because I switched to the RP servers and entertained myself there.

Yes, Blizzard have finally listened to the demands and they will re-release Vanilla, which will be called Classic, this summer.

You’re not alone, we all got bored with it, they have destroyed the game with everything that came after WotLK, but now the best version will be back. Come join us!

If it weren’t for that monthly fee, I’d join up (assuming y’all’d tolerate an Anglo-Catholic in your midst!), but instead, I’ll stick to my no-monthly-fee Guild Wars.

That’s a pity!

I like GW better anyway, just no longer has the social aspect it used to have since GW2 came out. I like the low level cap, which takes grinding XP out of the equation, and the smaller skill bar, just because I’m more of a minimalist on that front to begin with.
