Got home from church and found not only my “Vote NO on Ammendment 2” sign gone…but all the vote no signs on my street were gone as well. I guess everyone is entitled to free speech… except Christians taking a stand against the culture of death. I would sure like to catch them at it. I know I should turn the other cheek…but I sure would like to ELECTRIFY the next one I put out!:yup:

Contact the state and federal election authorities. This is against the law.

No one has the right to touch or remove anything from your private property.
Isn’t that considered Trespassing and theft?
If you caught the individuals taking your sign away, would police be able to do anything about it? Would you be able to press charges?

RE: “Turning the other cheek”
I’m not sure it applies in defense of GOD, LIFE, your Faith, the Church or the "least of His/our brethren .
Look what Jesus did w/the moneychangers in the temple.

Hehe. Sooooo tempting.

I guess the next best thing is to make your new display sooo big and obnoxious (or at least inaccesable) that they have to go to a lot of trouble next time.

Get even more of them and FILL your lawn so they’ll need a truck to haul them away.

And put a few inside your front windows, where they can’t get at them without breaking and entering. 🙂 Do you have a second story? Hang a big one from your roof!

That seems “cheeky” enough. 🙂

hey jasm ,

i’d be “steamed” too! i like the word “steamed” 😃 gotta use that one next time i feel like iam getting “steamed” 😃

Ooohh - I hear you and yes it is against the law. But having worked in politics it happens quite often.

I’d be tempted to put a sign in its place regarding the fascist tactics of the persons invloved in censoring political messages, probably not Christian thing to do, but I’d be tempted…hehe.
In all reality though, IMHO people who go to these lengths to silence the pro-life message have to be very deeply wounded in some way, they probably deserve pity and prayers.

Hopefully you can get a few more signs though!

get a camera and set it up .

then post a few more signs

once you have the video of them taking down the signs you can post it on YouTube .

Then press charges .

enjoy

Oh, I like this suggestion. Yes, the stealing of signs goes on all the time. I should know, I give people signs and a couple weeks later they ask for another because someone stole it. Or I put it up, with permission of the landowner, and next time I drive by, it’s gone and it wasn’t the landowner who took it down.

I think a sheriff got up to some hijinks last election season and was caught on tape stealing his opponent’s signs. Of course, it tends to be considered a shenanigan and the penalty is slight, but the youtube video would be worth its weight in negative ads.
