How many years, how many nights and I’ve watched Churches being blown up and Christians being persecuted in their own lands. I watched hatred taught to me as a child, I watched hatred being taught to my peers yet there I stood by. The world goes by yet the sword of Islam continues its massacres and massacres. Where is the world, I cannot even wear a cross publically or say I’m Christian. Where is humanity, why doesn’t the world speak for us, doesn’t anyone care for the Christians of the Middle East anymore? We have been made slaves in our own land and no one speaks out no hand is reached out to us. America has done nothing neither has France nor any Europe. The west should feel shame if I had dirt in my hands I’d throw it at the west right now, atleast Israel tried to help, the west back all of our oppressors like the Gulf states countries which murder apostates from Islam to Christianity. I have lost all hope I have to endure both physical oppression from Muslims and their mental attacks on my faith yet no hand is raised in defense, no one speaks for us, no one helps us, but I know God will help even if people who call themselves Christians won’t.

I hear your pain. There are those of us who do care. Some of us do not know how to help. I will say a prayer for you.

Sorry, you cannot blame the rest of the world nor can you wait for outside help. The UN should intervene; however, they won’t. The best thing you can do is leave. That’s my only suggestion as armed resistance is not feasible.

You live in difficult times my friend, my heart is out for you and from now on your family will always be in my prayers. Keep the faith. Keep a low profile within the Church. I know that our faith is an “out there” faith and we are to evangelize, but in your case as was the case of the Jews in Nazi occupied lands, practice in silence and when it is safe. Have priests do what was common for rituals in secret as it was in the catacombs when under the threat of Rome and the Forum, and that is practice in secrecy. Explain this to the children and teach them not to be spontaneous and to measure their responses and who they associate with. If the teaching system is hostile and teaches lies, perhaps if you can find some way to keep them separate from the teaching system for the time being. Home schooling may be your only option now. Usually away from metropolitan areas will be a better place to raise a family. Keep in touch with a priest as guide and council. I think you should organize your parish into underground units, not large ones in case one is found out.

Here in the west it is difficult to help. We can perhaps seek vines of assistance through the Vatican and I will look into it. Direct monetary support would not work as the funds would go to a subversive group.

There will be a day when the sun will shine again and the storm will be over as those who followed the temporal god of this world will be called to judgement. May God and St. Michael bring your family strength ,fortitude and temperance in these difficult times. Remember you have brothers and sisters all over the world who are deeply concerned for you.

When the Muslims oppress us, the west is silent and actuslly supports our oppressors. In their schools they would teach me that Christians and Jews are deceivers, liars, and forerunners of the anti Christ, however I never believed it. Because I knew the love of Christianity as opposed to the hatred of Islam.

Christians in all Islamic countries don’t need funds, someone just needs to realize their suffering. The Vatican instead of calling for dialogue with Islam should realize our oppression and call for freedom of religion in Islamic countries, not dialogue with people who destroy churches and bread Christians.

The West should take a lesson in determination and audacity from this devout family in the struggle with oppressors. Our policy is always a war-at-a-distance, where we offer less than our capabilities in ridding these countries of the disease that infects it. We always choose less involvement, but with just enough effort for our own experimentation and benefit, and so these attempts simply become on going stand offs, for want of a better phrase.

These just don’t work against psychopaths. We recall the Pope’s response to the Nazis when they decimated a whole village of hundreds. He sent out a letter to Hitler in appeal and protest who promptly ordered the killing of thousands.

What is called for is an out and out invasion, and then a couple of years of establishing proper government suited to their national condition, and not necessary a capitalistic system.(Many readers wincing, perish the thought). Must Japan be the only beneficiary of compassion? Could not the U.N. contribute to an unselfish rebuild of these nations to an eventual stability, a government for their people by their people?.

We go into these situations influenced by various government departments each wanting a piece of the action. Drones should be used, or new fighters can be tested, or helicopters can be sold. These receive priority first, and becomes the primary motive.

Eventually there just isn’t any more money to continue the presence there, or new areas of conflict(usually resource related) diverts our presence from there, conveying to the world what was our true resolve in the first place. Like a patient cutting off his supply of antibiotics, by leaving the infecting oppressors to their devices, are given a chance to learn by their mistakes for the next round of saviours who dare to try a half hearted attempt.

We learn situational phrases such as collateral damage, which should strike fear in the enemy, but instead affects the innocent. Just one more reason for citizens to look at the sky with added trepidation.

We need to show these innocent, peace loving people that we can share in their sacrifice. Are we truly Catholic, truly Christian?

Yes, powerful governments supply ammunition and money to these extremist groups.

Actually, the whole goal, since the Invasion of Iraq, was to destabilize the Middle East. ISIS is definitely funded by an outside source.

Are you blaming Pope Pius XII?

Who foots the bill?

The so called allies of the West (Saudi and the Gulf states) don’t know what democracy or freedom is. The West sits back while it knows very well what it’s “allies” are doing. My family is not Christian I am the only Christian in my own family aswell. They accept my conversion but my country does not.

I see not even protest from the Vatican which once ordered the crusades and bravely defended Christians in the Middle East and now I see nothing.

Do you have family in another country? Would you consider trying the immigrate to the USA, Canada, Australia, or the UK?

What you’re proposing is a VERY BAD IDEA and it’s called “Regime Change”. Sorry, but I think you should stop blaming everyone and decide whether staying in your country is a good idea.

Please read, then do some searches and you may be surprised at the number of times the various Popes have spoken out on this subject.
