I was wondering, I would really like to start putting my faith into more concrete action. Does anyone know how I could best do this? Thanks and God bless.
A good way to do this is to volunteer. Try helping out at a soup kitchen or visit people at a nursing home. I’m sure if you spoke with your Pastor, you and he could find somewhere that would be ideal for you.
You can start with Love for:
Galatians 5: 6 says that thing that counts is faith working through love.
To love is to follow this example:
Mathew 25:35-36: For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me."

find somebody to help, some apostolate you can join that uses your gifts and talents, or just your hard work and willingness to help others. what is the need closest to home that is not being met?
Then spend time in prayer discerning what gifts you have to offer, and put them in God’s hands…and then take a look at what your parish needs. Do they need assistance in handling finances? Do they have a particular ministry that appeals to you?
Keep in mind that it’s not necessarily an “all or nothing” kind of thing. Sometimes the best way to start is by a small step, and then let God lead you to the next and the next. So if you’re not sure about something, test the waters, and let it go from there.
