While I’m just a generic lay person, and this is sort of random, but anyway I was thinking…
Members of religious orders need the imprimi potest to publish something. Now if they are dead, and they wrote stuff that wasn’t published or was published in some foreign language, does that stuff they wrote need the imprimi potest to be published again? Obviously that doesn’t/wouldn’t impact the author since they are dead, but is that something publishing houses should care about?
You know sometimes I question why I ask these things.
