Impure thougts and occasions Of sin?!?

Is it a sin to to frequent an occasiOn that oftEn causes bad thoughts to occur? I always resist these Impure thoughts promptly so I think that the thoughts themselves aren’t mortal sins. However, is it a mortal sin to frequent such an occasion of impure thoughts?

Also, what if such an occasion occurs and we dont resist it promptly and thus an impure thought occurs, is it still a mortal sin if we promptly resist the thought?

(there are various “degrees” of occasions of sin…“remote” and “Near” (and in between such) …a near occasion of mortal sin is what generally leads to commit mortal sin…either due to its nature or the particular person…)
