Due to circumstances, minority groups continue to fight against each other to be heard, understood, & accepted for who they think they are. They look at out-groups as being judgmental, ignorant, & ethnocentrism. ~Yet when we let Christ influence our lives, we should know that nothing else matters than to love & serve Him by loving our neighbors as ourselves; loving each other as brothers and sisters in Christ- no less.
It bothers me to see people within minority groups complaining about what others have done to them, yet we have the choice to listen to such ridicule opinions or not. Rather than accepting their life experiences as learning experiences to grow in faith, hope, & love in God, they let misconceptions, negative behavioral tactics sink into the wounded soul more; creating imaginative barriers between one another without doing something about it. Do people not realize that these pessimistic words+actions aren’t from God! God created us all unique & loves us unconditionally. We were all created to love & serve Christ- His Son, by following His teachings which involves loving our neighbor as ourselves; loving one another as brothers and sisters in Christ.
Why not step outside of those minority comfort zones & take a leap of faith (listen & be obedient) that Christ knows us more than we know ourselves; His will WILL be done. Stop trying to nurture the fleshly self that feels abused/wounded & accept that Christ is with us always- He already accepts & loves us. If we all step outside of ourselves to experience helping one another thru Christ’s teachings only, life would be simpler, satisfying, & fulfilling.
~Please join me in saying Novenas for all ‘oppressed’ minority groups- that they stop living for themselves & start living for Christ honestly. And for all of us- that we strive to help each other thru Christ’s teachings by holding each other accountable as brothers and sisters in Him who sets us free to love purely thru faith, hope, & love. The best counselor/teacher/psychologist out there is the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, & Holy Spirit)- as 3-in-1, all 3 know everything & how to nurture & deepen the beautiful soul we have within us.
Making personal time with Christ (thru prayer, spiritual reading, volunteering, etc) is the best decision I’ve ever made- I encourage my fellow brothers & sisters to substitute fleshly selfish desires for selfless desires. Christ died for our sins out of love. It’s our turn to die to self & be instruments of His peace. The world is a big mess, but with acts of kindness it doesn’t have to be. With Christ, we live by faith, not by sight. ~
