We have a Portuguese Mass in Irving at St. Lukes. It’s not my parish, but we went to it thinking there wasn’t one near us in the evening. We just went along with it. Isn’t it great being Catholic, following mass is so much easier knowing the mass.

Cool, I’m glad you found someone to talk to on here.

Running to the beach…we’re on vacation.
Have a nice vacation yes the forum and discussions can not be a very relaxing vacation so maybe you should take it easy. 🙂
Do you mean Irving Michigan?
It is great to be a Catholic I was just wandering around for 40 years like in a desert.I have been back 2 years and it has taken that long to calm down and get rooted in the peace of the Trinity, Jesus is very forgiving and merciful. My favorite is saying the Our Father, I missed it so., this calms me many times. Say it through quietly and slowly and it will calm me down.

If you want to e-mail him let me know he wants others to learn english from through conversation. You don’t need to know Portuguese. 🙂

Today is the Church celebrates the Nativity of John the Baptist. In the Liturgy of the Hours the prayers remind us of us beging called out of the desert. We all have our deserts that we live in. My joining in prayer with the Church we come together in constant prayer. The Liturgy of the Hourse is my oasis, much like the Our Father is to you. I love the LOTH because of its importance in daily Christian prayer. Even some Potestants pray it. It really enriches your prayer life. It’s not easy all the time because it requires time…time that we married folks have dffiulty because of family life.

I was referring to Irving, Texas, currentl home of the Dallas Cowboys, whick will be abandoned soon as they prepare to move to Arlington, Texas. The new stadium is awesome. It’s amazing to watch it built. The construction is amazing.

Part of my need to get away is not this forum. It really has to do with the problems wth not being able to proclaim our new Catholic faith to my family.
