In what form will Christ return?

One of the verses in Revelations says Jesus will return on a white horse.
It might just be symbolic.
But it’s cool.
 
I was recently at the site of the Ascension in the Holy Land and apparently there is a belief he will beam right down there on the same spot.
 
I am pretty sure He will return as God since He always is God. If I am going to be around at that point of time, I have no idea. If I am, then I will let you know what He looks like. 🤣

With the glorified body. It seems fitting that it will have the marks of the crucifixion, as the Apostles saw.

“They shall look upon him whom they have pierced” is OT. Quoted in the NT to explain why He will still have wounds in His Body when He comes again, just as He did when The Apostles and disciples saw Him.

The OT says that the Messiah will show up from the East, at the Mount of Olives. (Zech. 14:4) But everybody will see Him in the heavens, too.There are prophecies about all this stuff.

There is a ton of messianic Bible prophecy. Our “traditions” are based on that, as well as what Jesus explained about these OT prophecies.

I’m at the point where I just wish he’d hurry up and come back. I don’t care if he appears at McDonald’s in Wichita Falls serving the fries, just please Come Lord Jesus.

There are some Board of Health considerations about serving food with open wounds… Food service is not a career for stigmatists.

When Jesus Christ resurrected and showed up to the apostles, He was already in His glorified body. He looked like human and still had His wounds.

He can look whatever He wants to. Nowdays, the most common way to see Him in is during a Mass in which the Eucharist is valid.
