Ever hear of apparitions? Manifestations? These are found throughout the Old Testament. They are not flesh and blood but are *spiritual encounters *directed by God Himself. They may ‘appear’ as flesh (as angels can and often do appear this way) but this is a manifestation of God’s power.Jn.1:14 states not that the word was made flesh but that the word was made flesh and dwelt among us.So was the word ever made flesh prior to this but did not dwell amongst us - who was the God of the OT, that man could not see and live, but that man did see and lived viz Sinai,Mamre and also elsewhere - twinc
