Going directly after Roe vs. Wade:
Indiana Bill would Make Abortion Illegal
By Terry Vanderheyden

INDIANAPOLIS, January 6, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Illinois State Republican Troy Woodruff introduced a bill into the House there Wednesday that proposes to make abortion illegal.

Woodruff said he hopes the bill will go to committee; if passed the bill would no doubt be repealed by the courts, at which point, Woodruff said the law could go to the Supreme Court, where Roe v. Wade has not yet been challenged by the court’s new members.

At some point, a state is going to stand up to the judicial activists and cause a Constitutional Crisis.

Just out of curiousity, why would someone from Illinois try to pass a law in Indiana?

It’s not so much that people in IL or any other state would try to pass legislation in Indiana or any other state as much as U.S. citizens anywhere would be showing their support for Indiana legislators to encourage them in the battle for life. This sends a definite signal to other legislative representatives in the U.S. should they be considering similar legislation but are wary of political/popular backlashing for speaking out in support of life.

Legislation passed in Iowa, Wisconsin, Missouri, Indiana and Kentucky with regard to abortion can directly affect Illinois medical facilities and health professionals.

Consider this recent article in The Chicago Tribune:

Missouri rule forces restrictions in Illinois

It may have been Missouri that passed new abortion restrictions last fall, but the law was clearly aimed at Illinois.

The legislation, which took effect in September, allowed lawsuits against those who “cause, aid or assist” Missouri minors in obtaining abortions without parental consent. The law applies to abortions anywhere, including Illinois, which requires no such consent.

Four months later, the law continues to impose hardships and headaches at the Hope Clinic for Women in Granite City, Ill., administrators said. The clinic, just across the Mississippi River from the St. Louis arch, is one of the busiest abortion providers in Illinois.

Yes!

Challenge Roe vs Wade!

Challenge it every day every way, bring it down!

Good luck USA from Canada. If you win your battle there, ours might become easier here.
