Much of it is in accurate.
Much of it misrepresents Church teaching.
Most of it is anti-Catholic propaganda.
The Roman Catholic church curses those who preach the true gospel.
**1. **Didn’t the Roman Catholic church give us the Bible? Not really. We have the Bible today in spite of the Roman Catholic church’s attempts to hide it, re-write it, add to it, take away from it, and burn it.
**3. **Are you saying that all Catholics are going to hell? Anyonewho is not trusting in Christ alone for salvation is going to hell
And so on. Happy now? :coffeeread: Do the mods know that you have linked to an anti-Catholic site? You should probably speak to them about how to proceed from here.

I think that if I link it as reference is not bad, they just don’t want you asking for people to “swarm” the sites.

And I know that the site is anti-Catholic and all claims can be refuted, but the claim about Num 23:19 has caught my interest…

Read Numbers 23 in its entirety. This is completely out of context. Balaam said verse 19 to Balak, explaining that man should follow the command of God, since following a man’s command (Balak) would be to follow someone who could change their mind.

All Christians accept the Bible as divinely inspired. It is written by man, but God breathed. In much the same way, the Church is divinely inspired, and acts with guidance from the Holy Spirit.

I recently saw a website in which they quote Numbers 23:19 against the infability of the Pope.
any thoughts?
**12. **The Roman Catholic church teaches that the Pope is infallible in his authoritative teaching (CCC 891).
The Bible does not teach that! It is impossible for the Pope to be “infallible in his authoritative teaching.” GOD ALONE IS INFALLIBLE! (Holy Bible: Numbers 23:19).
Were the true prophets of the Old Testament infallible in their prophecies? Yes. Otherwise, they would be false prophets. (Deuteronomy 18:22)

Were the human authors of the Old and New Testament infallible in their writings? Yes. Otherwise, the Old and New Testament would contain error and falsehood.

How is it that the Old Testament prophets and the Old and New Testament authors were infallible in their prophecies and writings yet were still men and not God? Because God assisted them!

How is it that the pope can teach infallibly in matters of faith and morals yet still be a man and not God? For the same reason, because God assists him and prevents him from teaching error and falsehood.
