True story. I visited Prague sometime around 2002 on a business vacation. There with a bunch of other sales folks who got won the trip.

While there, I asked some folks what they were going to do one day. They said “visit some churches.” I asked if I could go along.

Guess where we went and what I saw?

Never in my life did and do I recollect seeing anything to match the Church of Victorious Virgin and the Infant of Prague. I was very much moved. Wasn’t Catholic then. Wasn’t pondering important things either.

I don’t think my remarkable trek to the Tiber years later was an accident.

My great grandparents came from there. Hope to make it for a visit some day. It was called Bohemia at that time, and my great grandfather wrote music. “Farewell To Gay Bohemia.”
Still have a copy of the music.
All my best
Prague
