Three days ago the oxygen tube was finally removed and my granddaughter breathed on her own for the 1st time since her birth in December.
She has also gained a pound weighing 5.8 lbs.
Hopefully, she will get released from the hospital in 30 days.
My daughter held the baby for the 1st time last week.
The fortitude that we have found through this experience is amazing. God’s mercy and graces have changed so many lives.
Her next heart surgery should be in 5 or 6 months.
