Hi,

I’m a newly confirmed catholic and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the initials CMJ after a priests name stood for? I have searched but didn’t see it coinciding with any orders. Thanks

Yes, there are Anglicans who have CMJ. If it’s Catholic, is it possibly CJM? That would be the Congregation of Jesus and Mary which is a French religious order I think. Or could it be CMI (Carmelites of Mary Immaculate)? That’s Indian.

Thanks very much everyone. It could very well be CJM instead, maybe it’s a typo on the bulletins we get on Sunday but figure someone might have noticed by now. He has been at the church for a few months, and is listed as an associate pastor if that makes a difference. It could be angelican as well
