Dr Z. is a primary care doctor in New York City who was seeing 250 patients per day at the height of the epidemic instead of the normal 50 patients.
He learned from doctors in S. Korea and France about hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) plus zinc and antibiotic (AZT) and used them on his patients with very positive effect.
He realized he needed to get the word out about the great reduction in his patients needing hospitalization and so made a Youtube video. The next day he got a call from the Trump White House and agreed to update them.
He said he received calls from quite a few world governments about his protocol.
He clearly is a man of deep faith although it is not clear if that is Judaism or Christianity. He explains that amidst the attacks on him from the NY state government and elsewhere his faith was a big inspiration.
Dr Z. has stage 4 cancer and was dealing with that issue as well.
He says, "when you believe you are about to meet God, you stop fearing men. "
He was surprised about the opposition to his work. “What’s motivating people? Is there sanctity of life made in the image of God or we like animals–bought and sold.” “God runs the world. I’m going to do what is right. I was not afraid”
The Carlucci study at NYU used Dr Z’s protocol. Both arms/groups received HCQ and AZT; however one group also received the essential mineral zinc. HCQ is thought to move zinc into cells where the zinc has a negative effect on virus replication. The group receiving zinc had half the deaths and greatly reduced ICU admissions. Dr Chris Martenson explains some of the encouraging data from this study in the context of other studies seemingly designed to fail.
Some researchers from Germany also worked with Dr. Z. to publish his data on HCQ + AZT + Zinc in outpatients.
If I understand correctly those are the only two HCQ studies that included zinc. I don’t think there are even any other studies that tested for zinc deficiencies. Studies have suggested that the elderly and diabetics are more likely to be deficient and those groups have an increased risk for a bad outcome with COVID. Maybe some people running the studies were more interested in boosting sales of vaccines and drugs used in hospitals. Greatly reducing the number of people needing hospital care would hurt their profits.
He says he has almost 100% success rate with his preventative protocol. Almost no one gets sick. He is so confident that he only wears a mask if the patient wants him to!
