Does anyone know anything about the group “Institute for Divine Metaphysical Research”? My sister-in-law and her husband have been very involved with this group for years.

I was looking at their website and found their teaching troublesome.

Yet, our present day theologians, ministers and preachers, for the most part, say that Yahshua (whom they call Jesus) was instituting or setting up water baptism when He was baptized of John; and that He was instituting or setting up footwashing when He washed His disciples’ feet. This IS NOT the True Gospel of the Kingdom to insist upon and encourage others to be water baptized or eat Lord’s Suppers or have their feet washed saying that “Jesus” was setting an example for us to follow. This is far from the Truth. And no one can prove — by the Bible — that Yahweh, Elohim, or Yahshua the Messiah; the Lord, God, or Jesus Christ; or the Father; the Word; or the Holy Spirit; or Jehovah; or Adonai ever said to a GENTILE that he should be baptized in natural physical water as an act of salvation.

This is not Catholic teaching, of course. The set up of this organization seemed kind of cultish (imho, cause I don’t have proof yet.)

Sounds like they claim to have the secret TRUE GOSPELS. I would be very wary of this group. I will pray for you and yours right now.

more research for you. Some dude named Dr. Kinley claimed to receive a vision and wrote a book of revelation of Yahweh. He claims his book has defeated the Christian churches:

The book, which was sent to the Pope and Cardinals, and others in the Roman Catholic Church, had vigorously declared that this Church was wrong in all of its concepts and traditions, thus they no recourse other than to try and patch things up. The over-all effect of the book, GOD, THE ARCHETYPE (ORIGINAL) PATTERN OF THE UNIVERSE, on the Roman Catholic and Protestant churches has been one of utter destruction and decline. There have been open schisms, heated debates, and wholesale evacuation of the Roman Catholic Church by priests and laymen, and even Jesuits; and Pope Paul VI is frantically pleading with his adherents to remain true to the Church; but the once proud lady is fallen as the Apostle John prophesied that she would in Revelations 17th and 18th chapters.
