They have a seminary, and they’re rather traditional and they teach the Latin mass.

kind of a weird name though. from the name it sounds very protestant. i would be aware of random things though. im not saying this is bad i don’t know anything about it but random things that you find online or anywhere else should be saught with caution.

I do not personally know anything directly about them, perhaps I should sign up for their newsletter to learn a little more.
I do know that when I asked an F.S.S.P. priest for seminaries that might be good outside of the F.S.S.P. seminaries, the Institute of Christ the King was one that came up as a possibility. No detailed info – just a possibility.

The Institute of Christ the King is AWESOME, bostonboy23. You should check out their website. They are a Traditional (Tridentine Mass) order of priests. Their seminary is in Italy; they have bases all around the world, and have a presence in the United States, in particular in St. Louis and Chicago. I know several of their priests and seminarians and am very excited by the work this order is doing.

I’m no fan of the Latin Mass, but the ICRSS (Institutum Christi Regis Summi Sacerdotis), also known as the ICRS or Institute of Christ the King, is one of the most faithful groups of loyal Catholics.
They are both traditionalist, and obedient to the Magisterium.

The Institute of Christ the King is thoroughly Catholic. Its priests offer devotion to Christ, love for His Church, and the grace of God mediated through the sacraments.

The Institute of Christ the King administers the TLM in the oratory in our city, and has since the mid 1980s. Our bishop, Thomas Doran, is orthodox and conservative, and would never foist a questionable group upon the Catholics under his care.
