Intercessor Stories

I was wondering if anyone had any stories about saintly intercession. This was prompted by something that happened just recently. I was having trouble finding someplace driving and got onto the entrance ramp for a highway. I said “Saint Christopher, I trust this to you” or something along those lines since I don’t do much highway driving. Once I got down to where I was, I looked back to merge and there were three short schoolbuses with governors that must have been 10 mph under the limit for that highway, driving in a row, holding my lane open for me. I simply laughed and said “good one.”

They don’t have to be strictly humorous but I would be interested to hear anything anyone has to share.

My grandmother got quite ill some years ago, and so my aunt gave her a prayer book of Our Lady of Lourdes. Shortly thereafter, she grew healthy again and has maintained a fervent devotion to Our Lady. That’s the only story I have that concerns visible saintly intercession. I pray to St. Alphonsus for my exams and he usually helps me to get a good grade even if I am certain I am going to fail, but that just might be student anxiety.
