Intercessory Prayer to Saint Monica

Please pray to Saint Monica for intercession for all wives who struggle with difficult husbands and marriages. Please pray for all the mothers who struggle with children who have struggled, fallen, disappointed and failed, causing untold grief and worry. One this, her feast day, for all women who need her intercession, we ask Saint Monica to assist us in our struggles, grant us the patience that she exhibited and trust in the Lord to lead our loved ones to conversion, in all ways.
 
St. Monica, please intercede for us in obtaining grace and conversion for our children that they may know Christ as your son did.

St Monica, by your patience and prayers you abtained from God the conversion of you husband and the grace to live in peace with him. Obtain for us we beseech you, the blesssing of Almighty God, so that true harmony and peace may reign also in our homes and that all members of our families may attain eternal life. Amen

Dear St. Monica, troubled wife and mother, many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime. Yet you never despaired or lost faith. With confidence, persistence, and profound faith, you prayed daily for the conversion of your beloved husband, Patricius, and your beloved son, Augustine; your prayers were answered. I thank you for your intercession on behalf of my husband and my other children. At this time, grant me that same fortitude, patience, and trust in the Lord. Intercede for me, dear St. Monica, that God may favorably hear my plea for my son *** and his wife and grant me the grace to accept His Will in all things, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

please pray for each of us in our daily struggles as wives and mothers.

O Mother of Perpetual Help, my new best friend! See those women in need many in greater need than my own self and tend to them even though they haven’t sought help. Help us to see our need for prayers instead of feeling like we have to struggle through each day alone. Amen.
