Some secular orders and such seem to focus specifically on the poor, which is good, but I don’t feel drawn to help in food kitchens or something like that.

What are some good suggestions for someone drawn more to being charitable in “being there” for people? For example, I’m much more attracted to visiting people or just talking with them, maybe even something practical like cleaning up the city or something.

Any thoughts on what I could do to help teach people?

Am I looking at this all wrong?
