My friends all around me, all know what they are going to do when they grow up. I have no clue. Lately i have been praying and I had a dream I was a priest. Am i suppose to take this literaly and majorly consider beening a preist? Is this a message from God? Am i suppose to ingore it and forget it? What to do?!

I am 51, soon to be 52 and I still have trouble sometime deciding what I want to be when I grow up.
Seriously, though, if you feel a “pull” to the religious life, explore the options with a parish priest.

Well, I see from your public profile that you are 14 years old and a Baptist. I am assuming you are a young man. Probably the first step is to learn more about the Catholic faith and your own Baptist faith. If you are sincerely drawn to Catholicism, then you would need to get your parents’ approval to convert before 18. But if you want to convert and they don’t approve, you may need to wait until you are 18 and on your own. In any case, learning about the Catholic faith can only deepen your knowledge of Christ, the Bible, and the history of Christianity–and not just because you had a dream. As you learn about Catholicism, you will also learn more about the requirements to be a priest and you will better know whether you have what it takes to become a priest.

There was a time in my life where I was not going to Mass and I was a mess and really being awful. I wanted to go back to Church but had an irrational fear of confession.I cried and wanted strength and that night I dreamed I met a priest and we walked and he heard my confession. That dream gave me the courage to go to confession.

Actually your friends think they know what they are going to do. I´m sure some of them will become what they think they want to be, but probably most of them won´t. People and circumstances change a lot and what you think when you are a teenager may become another thing later in life.

Be patient, don´t think you have to know because others think they do. Take your time to explore different things and above all pray about it.
:blessyou:
