Interpretations of Tolkien

I love the works of J. R. R. Tolkien. I see, under the Germanic mythology; a lot of Biblical allusions. Aragorn as Christ, the Elves as angels and the Dwarves as Jews. Sauron is obviously the devil.

Overall, his work is a heavily Catholic fairy tale, as well as a thrilling adventure story.

What do you all see in Tolkien?
