Interruptions during Prayer?

No. My 85 year old father could interrupt me at any time. If I waited, I would never get a chance to pray!
Likewise for any one of my children. I can’t have a five minute interruption-free conversation with my husband, let alone with God. He sent me the little interruptions, so I’m sure he understands.

However, I try to remind myself that I have to give God my full attention first.
But you did give Him your full attention first.
It’s not your fault if somebody else comes along, and it doesn’t make God “mad”.
Also, He knows if we’re in an environment where interruptions are likely (a house full of lively kids, or a caregiver for a medically fragile person). A parish I used to attend there were two police officers who would come in and stand in the back of Mass. sometimes they got called away.
Life isn’t always neat and tidy.
