I have been having issues lately with my longterm GF. She has been pressing me lately to get married, but don’t feel I can make that commitment yet. I have struggled with committed intimacy in the past, and don’t want to commit to a girl who I know I will ultimately break her heart. I am in deep love with her though. Should I just end it? I don’t want to hold on, but I can’t let go…
 
Yes, how long have you been with her?

What is stopping you from marriage? What makes you so sure you will “break her heart”?

Edited to add - if you’re comfortable with sharing, how old are you both?

If you know you will break her heart, why are you with her?
 
Man up. Long-term: so decide if you want to love her for the rest of your life and propose, or break it off. Time to fish or cut bait, if you care about her at all.
