iPhone 1 Jan 1970 Glitch

Did you know that on any smartphone today you may not turn back clock to earlier than 1 Jan 1970?

This is because the operating system needed an integer (set to 0, for which 1 Jan 1970 midnight was used) as a starting point in order to start counting the seconds.

Just a little useless ICT knowledge.

Certainly the Unix operating system represents the time by counting seconds since 1 Jan 1970. I wasn’t aware iOS did the same.
