Is Abortion Unforgivable Sin?

There are such things as natural abortions where no one intends to kill the baby and the baby’s life is brought to an end. How does this fit into your definition of abortion?

I thought that would be considered a miscarriage. Or is there a more technical definition to that term?

Lamentably, the general medical term for a miscarriage is “spontaneous abortion.” Of course this is different that what we term as the sin of abortion.

My layman’s understanding of the OP’s situation is that it wasn’t a sin, but the broken heart still grieves and she has my deepest sympathy.

Even though my baby was in the process of dying on her own, delayed growth, slow heartbeat, etc, we technically had the pregnancy terminated. The doctors told me that if I continued the pregnancy, I could bleed to death. So, even though I wanted the baby, we did choose to terminate the pregnancy. I still feel bad about it.
