I have been trying to find a good parallel or Concordance to deepen my study of Scripture, and I ran across the three titles below at Amazon. Does anyone have experience with them (good, neutral or bad)??? If you have found any good texts yourself, I’d appreciate the reference. Thanks and God Bless.

The Strongest Strong’s: Exhaustive Concordance Of The Bible (Hardcover)
by James Strong, John R. III Kohlenberger, James A. Swanson

Strong’s is excellent, however it is keyed to the KJV–though I use it with others. It also does not include the deuterocanon. On the other hand, it does have every word in the rest of scripture indexed!!
I am not familiar with other 2 books. I will say, however, that in my experience, a parallel Bible is a terrific resource.
The one that I use is The Complete Parallel Bible (w/the apocryphal/deuterocanonical books. It includes the NRSV, REB,NAB,&NJB. Other than the fact that the print is way too small for my aging eyes, I can’t say enough good things about it.

If you can find “Cruden’s Unabridged Concordance”, it contains the deuterocanon. It does not have the extras (ie,dictionary, etc) that Strongs has, however. (You will need the same magnifying glass for it that you use with the parallel Bible above…)

I can only speak of Strongs, but I have found it very useful. I generally use the RSV-CE for private and devotional study, but even though Strongs is based on the KJV (as noted above), it is hasn’t been hard for me to work around the differences.
