I’m familiar with the Catholic Answers and EWTN shops, as well as Rugged Rosaries, but never heard of “Roman Catholic Gear” until now. Is anyone familiar with them?

Yeah, that’s run by Fr. Richard Heilman who also runs Roman Catholic Man blog. I usually sign up for his prayer programs and novenas - trying to do his “Peace through Strength” program right now. He has the guy from Catholic Gentleman guest posting and I think maybe Fr. Ripperger too. He’s also friends with Fr. Z.

He had another company selling the stuff for him, but I think him and his brother took it over and now run it entirely themselves as of last year. He sells stuff on there that he promotes on the blog and uses in his prayer programs, like the Holy Face chaplet.

Awesome, thanks. I felt it was a good place. I noticed they’re giving away some scapulars that have been touched to a relic of the cross and got a good feeling when it said “we can’t sell them because they’re blessed, but feel free to donate”, but wanted to make sure.

Yeah, just to warn you he gets thousands of requests for those “free” things and sometimes they take months to arrive or never do. I wrote in for one months ago and I’m not sure if it ever arrived.

When he was selling Holy Face chaplets for his Holy Face novena a couple years ago, they got so many orders that I didn’t get my chaplet until the 54-day novena was almost over.

The guy is super popular, he has a really busy closed Facebook page with all the devotions going on it and it has loads of followers.

You weren’t kidding. I still haven’t gotten a shipment notification. Hopefully it comes before I’m not at the shipment address anymore 🤷‍♂️

The person I was going to use the green scapular to hopefully convert died before I got it. I’m not quite sure what I will do with mine now if it actually does show up.
