Is aztec dancing spiritually dangerous?

I recently attended my parish festival and the entertainment at the festival included Aztec dancing. The dancers were in full costume. They were beating drums with animals painted on them and burning incense. How can one reconcile Aztec dancing with Catholicism? If yoga is spiritually dangerous, shouldn’t Aztec dancing be regarded the same way? Is it not a form of prayer to other gods? Thank you for any information you can provide.
 
Something that is done for historical and entertainment purposes is not spiritually dangerous. It would only be spirituality dangerous if the participants attached some kind of spiritual meaning to the action.
