I know of people who’s bodies don’t work but their minds (heads) work amazingly: Steven Hawkins for an example.

If Steven Hawkins’ body didn’t work he’d be dead, Dokimas. His heart beats. His immune system fights disease. His GI tract provides him with nutrition. It’s just that he has a neuro-muscular disorder.
One ought not separate Jesus from His Church, as if they are not joined organically.
It is impossible to say, “I serve Jesus, and not the Church” because they only way one knows who Jesus is, is through the Church. If you know that Jesus loves you, it’s because the Church told you so. If you know that your sins are forgiven, it’s because the Church told you. If you know that He spilt his blood on the cross to allow for our salvation, it’s because the Church told you.

Heirs of the blessing promised to Abram. Gen.12: 3And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
The blessing promised here by God to Abraham was the blessing of salvation through Jesus. This blessing would come to “all families of the earth” whether the individual Jew believed or not, but in order for the Jew to be identified with this elite group they must be circumsised. This did not require faith on the part of the one being circumcised. Fast forward to Jesus who is the fulfillment of the promise to Abram. Jn.4:22Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. We now become spiritual Jews in Christ. However, this is no longer a matter of ethnicity as you have pointed out in Galatians 3 (ESV):27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise. However this spiritual Jewishness requires an idividual proclamation of faith. Acts 8:35Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
36And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
37And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
That proclamation of faith in Jesus as our savior in manifest in baptism.

Come on, PR. Would you trade bodies with Mr Hawkins??? People die with their minds working well til death, but it is their body that fails.
A preacher or other Christian (who are part of the church) at one time told me that Jesus is faithful to forgive me of my sins if I confess to Him.
It’s easy to say Jesus NEVER fails but the church which is people is prone to failure. Until you can separate the church from it’s sinful people (and that includes leaders) you CAN’T, IMO, say it is perfect.

Yes, and you only know what is the Word of God* because the CC told you they were the Word of God. * That is, you would not know, of your own account, that the Gospel of Thomas is not inspired, but that the Gospel of Mark is.
You quote the Gospel of Mark under the authority of the CC telling you it’s inspired.

Not sure what your point is.
My point is the CC is the Body of Christ. When one talks about Christ and His Church as being two separate entities, they are serving a decapitated Christ. It’s impossible to serve Jesus without first being in obedience to His Body, the Church.
Where did this preacher get that idea? From private revelation? Or from the CC, which professed and proclaimed this truth in the Scriptures.

In everyone, the weeds of sin will still be mixed with the good wheat of the Gospel until the end of time. Hence the Church gathers sinners already caught up in Christ’s salvation but still on the way to holiness:
