Is Catholicism and Buddhism compatible?

As a former Buddhist, I know you can’t be two contradictory religions at the same time. Buddhism, denies that the question of God’s existence is important, that’s not very complimentary with Christianity. That’s not to say there isn’t some truth in Buddhism, but what truth there is in Buddhism, is also in Christianity.
