Is Catholicism hazardous to my salvation?

My friend says my Catholicism is hazardous to my salvation. When a Protestant dies they will go to straight to heaven even if they missed going to their church service on Sunday But if a Catholic does not go to their church services, the Mass, without a good reason, on Sunday they committed a mortal sin and go to hell if they die before they go to confession. Additionally, if the Catholic does not go to confession once a year and they die, they go to hell. If the Catholic takes Holy Communion without confession once a year they go to hell. When I go to confession every week there are maybe 25 people there. But a couple of hundred receiving Holy Communion at Mass. My friend says there won’t be many Catholics in heaven. How do I answer that?
