Both Eucharistic elements contain the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus, It’s the whole Christ, Yet, Our Lord calls the “bread” His Body, and the “wine” His Blood. Obviously, both Jesus and the Council of Trent are correct but here is my confusion: During the Mass the point of the Body and Blood being in separate species is to spiritually slay Our Lord in an unbloody manner. It shows Jesus’ Body separate from His Blood. But if BOTH contain the whole Christ how is this, or rather how should I understand this? Is the “Wine” MORE of his Blood than the “Bread”? I hope I’m being clear.
