Is Communion cannibalism?

If we are drinking blood and eating flesh during communion are we not being cannibals?
 
Hi,

In receiving the Eucharist we are not receiving the Lord’s body as physcially present, but as sacramentally present. We are not eating a toe or finger nail. The Lord is truly present under the phsyical appearance of bread and wine. This is not cannibalism. It it the Eucharist and there is nothing to which it can be compared.
