Is Escharchas (glitters when praying or in a state of grace) real?

Is Escarchas real?
according to many journals, glitters appear after or while in deep prayer.

does this really happen and why does this happen?

“All that glitters is not gold”. I don’t believe that phenomena is anything Catholics should subscribe to.

That article gives information on the phenomena. I personally believe it’s all hogwash. It’s never been physically reported until 1993 and mainly in Venezuela! I’ve heard of the odor of sanctity. My father’s rosary links did change to a golden color. However, I never heard of Heavenly glitter…
