Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven. However, saints in heaven can pray for you just as I can, and because they are definitely righteous, their prayers availeth much more than mine.I want to say that I really appreciate you posting this thread.
I was raised protestant, but listen to EWTN regularly.
I really enjoy the programs and I felt like I wanted to become catholic.
Then I saw this book by Mary Ann Collins, and didn’t like what I was reading.
Now that you have pointed out the errors and the fact that she may not even exist.
I am more confused then ever!
Protestants believe they have the truth.
Catholics believe they have the truth, because they were first.
Protestants don’t believe that there is any other way to reach the Lord without Jesus.
Catholics believe we can pray to Mary and she intercedes for us.
I understand that those who die are alive in Christ.
And that that’s why Catholics believe we can pray to the saints in Heaven.
But still, Jesus did say,“I am the way the truth and the life”.
And,“No one comes to the Father but by Me”.
So I’m back to step one.
A protestant listening to Catholic radio and being pulled both ways.
Pray for me.
Thank you!
