God has many “Natures” right? Are they “all good?”
I disagree.God has many “Natures” right? Are they “all good?”
The human nature of Jesus is, by definition, not exactly the same thing as His divine or Godly nature - and so can’t be said to be God’s nature. It is hypostatically united with His divine nature though.I disagree.
God has only one nature = Divine.
In the person of Jesus, He has two natures=human & divine.
David you make a very valid point!:tiphat:I disagree.

Nothing exists outside of God, as I understand it. Any attribute that we give to God is simply an attempt to wrap our minds around an infinite being. We have to take our omnipotent diety with a bit of paradox, at least from our finite perspective.God has many “Natures” right? Are they “all good?”

It depends, are you asking that God only does good things or are you asking has God ever done anything bad?Agreed!
But is God “only and all good?”
Except that He reveals His attributes to us throughout the Bible. We didn’t make them up in the 20th century.Nothing exists outside of God, as I understand it. God isn’t simply good, just like he isn’t simply merciful or just. God is Goodness, He is Mercy, He is Justice. God is not just a series of attributes, he is those very values.Agreed!
But is God “only and all good?”
