I saw some members of the Hogan family on “Hogan Knows Best” making a cross during a dinner prayer. I couldn’t see the whole family because the camera was panning too fast. I’m just curious. Does anybody know? Thanks!

Don’t know for sure but Hogan is an Irish name and most Irish are Catholic.

I don’t know, but I saw that too, and his kids appear to go to a Catholic school.

His real name isn’t Hogan; it’s Terry Bollea. I’m pretty sure he’s Catholic (I’ve been a wrestling fan since I was a small child).

I would pay cash to hear him deliver a homily at my church!
He would have to be ordained a Deacon first in order to deliver that homily in a Catholic church.

Funny as my response was gonna be the same as yours.

Well, there is that famous shot of him giving himself the sign of the cross before a match, so it seems that way to me.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he’s a Catholic.

He was always one of the few pro-wrestlers who didn’t go around picking up a new woman each night. He’s been married to the same lady for a long time, and to my knowledge he has no previous marriage.

And we can’t forget the “Training, prayers, and vitamins.”

I just read the following on PWinsider.com:

“During the same taping, three editions of Piper’s Pit were taped. In the first, Andre The Giant turned heel, revealing Bobby Heenan to be his new manager, and challenged Hulk Hogan to a title match, tearing off Hogan’s shirt and crucifix. In the second edition, Hogan accepted Andre’s challenge, setting up the main event to Wrestlemania III. In the third edition, Roddy Piper revealed that he would retire following his match with Adrian Adonis at Wrestlemania III.”

I forgot that the old “good guy” Hogan always wore a crucifix. Definately seems down with the RCC to me!
