Is is it okay for my priest to give communion to non-catholics?

Our parish priest gives communion to our Protestant youth group leader. There are several people who are not Catholic and receive communion as well. Many people in the parish think this is wonderful in that it is so charitable but I think we are being disobedient. Yet, if the priest makes the calls what are we to do?
