Sorry if this is a silly question.
If one has consumed a drink or 2… not drunk… no where near it, and not intending on getting drunk. Also you are completely thinking straight. Is it a sin to pray? If not a sin, is it just wrong?

God wants an intimate relationship with us exactly as we are right? So is it ok to just get out the rosary beads if we feel like it, even if we’ve had a glass or 2?

Contrary to what some people think, drinking alcohol is not sinful, drunkenness is. That being said, I remember going to an Easter Vigil one year, and the guy that was there was not Catholic, but he was respectful, and he was definitely drunk , he stayed and prayed with us

If praying after consuming alcohol were sinful, Mass would end with communion.

I hope it is not…cause I am having a glass of Pinot Grigio now… 😬.

Code:
Catholics drink win when they go to communion.
Then after this they pray during mass.

Furthermore, the apostles drank wine during the last supper,
After this, Jesus gave his great prayer to the Father in John 17.

Blanket opposition to alcohol is not a Catholic thing.
