Is it bad that I read the Book of Common Prayer?

I know it is for use of Anglicans but I find it useful in giving good prayers to say throughout the year for different occasions. A lot of it seems to be the same liturgically as the Catholic Church. I see no harm in it but I wanted to be sure.

If it’s not going to turn you away from Catholicism, go for it.

It’s on the level of the KJV, a classic of English literature.

If you feel yourself gravitating towards the Anglicans, drop it like a hot rock though.

I don’t think prayers can labeled as bad for you, but why don’t you pray at least the Shorter Book of Christian prayer?
it’s an abbreviated version of the LOTH. There’s so many options in our Church…
