Is it bad to attend a secular college?

Hello,

I attend a secular college and will be graduating soon. I never really thought about it before, but is it bad to go to a public college where they teach unChristian ideals? I obviously don’t agree with them at all and have been very adamant in distancing myself from them. But my question is, is it wrong for a Catholic to attend such a college?
 
It would only be wrong if you attended the college because of those things. Otherwise you are committing no sin. As Christians we live in a world that is sometimes hostile to our faith and values, but Jesus does not ask us to retreat from the world but to enliven it. That is why Jesus called his followers the salt of the earth and the light of the world. As long as you continue to practice and live our your faith, you may attend a secular college without sin.
