Is it forgivable to have my tubes tied after my fourth child?

I am very very confused, is it a sin to have my tubes tied after I give birth to my 4th child. My question is, is this a sin? If so, a mortal unforgiveable sin being I knowingly am asking and wanting to do this? Please help
