I don’t think this is the right mindset as God has the ability and the power to do anything He wants and our free will is a gift. We don’t deserve anything but He gives us his great love and mercy to let us have free will. So God may do whatever He wishes but he decides not to, so I don’t think we should call Him out for it.
This said, nobody really knows how the judgement goes, and while we have beliefs and notions on it, only God knows. Even Jesus don’t know when the final judgement is coming, only God. So for all we know, it’s nothing like what we think.
But clearly there is some level of damnation as Jesus says in the Gospels that it is very hard for a rich person to get into Heaven (because the rich person had the ability to help a lot of people and yet probably didn’t). To be honest, whenever I read this line I always think of a particular person. I pray that he also experiences great mercy because this line from Jesus really is a strong one
